Investment rules

Rule 1

Averages the signals from several price-trend windows, and computes a market-regime score from moving-average gaps together with a directional-confidence measure.

Rule 2

When directional confidence and the regime score each pass their configured thresholds, extra exposure is added to the trend signal, within configured upper and lower limits.

Rule 3

If total exposure is above 1, the leveraged asset weight is total exposure minus 1, and the regular asset weight is 2 minus total exposure.

Rule 4

If total exposure is 1 or below, the leveraged asset weight is 0 and the regular asset receives the total exposure.

Calendar-year returns

Calculated from each year's first and last observation. The formula is (100 + last cumulative return) / (100 + first cumulative return) - 1. Figures cover only the observed range shown in the table, so a partial year differs from the full calendar-year return. The benchmark is compared only when it has the same observation dates.
